At the recently concluded IndiaCLEN Annual Conference at Nagpur on the 21^st and 22^nd April, 2012 Prof. Shally Awasthi, Department of Pediatrics, KGMCICE, Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, Lucknow was elected to the post of President IndiaCLEN for the period 2012-2014. She will hold office of President of IndiaCLEN with effect from 1^st May 2012 till 30^th April 2014.

We are dedicated to improving the health of the people by promoting clinical practice based on the best evidence of effectiveness and the efficient use of resources. We achieve this through a network of physicians, biostatisticians and social scientists who work together to build and sustain institutional capacity for excellence and relevance in research and medical education.
